    Spanglish Events produces and curates social, cultural, and bilingual experiences in Medellín, Colombia. These include language exchanges, hikes, tours, social meetups, and immersive events.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Growth, Partnerships & PR Intern to support outreach, partnerships, and brand visibility across all three projects.

    This role focuses on real-world business development, PR, and strategic outreach, and is ideal for individuals interested in building relationships and expanding brand presence.

    What You'll Work On

    This internship includes PR and media outreach, strategic outreach by project, partnership development, and additional support for messaging, tracking, and growth initiatives.

    PR & Media Outreach

    • Research and reach out to podcasts, media outlets, and content creators
    • Identify opportunities for features, interviews, and collaborations

    Strategic Outreach by Project — Spanglish Events

    • Local organizations and community groups
    • Event partners and venues
    • Media and storytelling opportunities

    Strategic Outreach by Project — PachamamaCO.co (Eco-Tourism)

    • Sanctuaries and eco-projects
    • Retreat centers
    • Travel agencies

    Strategic Outreach by Project — Renova.living (Medical Concierge)

    • Martial arts studios
    • Dance studios
    • Wellness centers
    • Health-focused communities

    Partnership Development

    • Identify and research potential partnerships
    • Initiate outreach and communication
    • Support collaboration ideas and follow-ups

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Assist with messaging and positioning
    • Track outreach efforts and responses
    • Support brand visibility and growth initiatives

    🌎 Internship Abroad in Medellín, Colombia (Optional)

    Because Spanglish Events is based in Medellín, Colombia, interns have the opportunity to complete their internship in person and immerse themselves in a full international experience.

    Instead of working remotely, interns may choose to:

    • Live in Medellín — one of Latin America's most dynamic and innovative cities
    • Study Spanish while completing their internship
    • Experience Colombian culture firsthand
    • Build international friendships and community connections
    • Participate in real events, cultural experiences, and social gatherings

    Important Financial Information

    Spanglish Events internships are unpaid. In certain cases, a limited stipend may be offered to support interns who demonstrate financial need or whose academic programs require compensation.

    Housing, flights, food, visas, health insurance, and all living expenses (for in-person internships) are the responsibility of the student.
