    Spanglish Events produces and curates social, cultural, and bilingual experiences in Medellín, Colombia.

    These include language exchanges, hikes, tours, social meetups, and immersive events.

    In addition, we support:

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an Events, Content & Experience Intern to support the creation, organization, and promotion of these experiences both online and in person.

    This role blends event planning, content creation, and community engagement, and is ideal for creative and organized individuals.

    What You'll Work On

    • Assisting with planning and launching events and experiences
    • Creating content such as flyers, captions, reels, and short-form videos
    • Supporting promotion across social media and community channels
    • Helping coordinate logistics and communication for events
    • Collecting and organizing media from events

    Content Responsibilities

    • Event promotion content
    • Event recap videos and walkthroughs
    • Community and lifestyle content
    • Supporting content for eco-tourism and wellness offerings

    Event Responsibilities

    • Assist with event setup and coordination
    • Assist with WhatsApp group communication
    • Assist with participant instructions and follow-up
    • Contribute to maintaining a consistent experience across events

    Because Spanglish Events is based in Medellín, Colombia, interns have the opportunity to complete their internship in person and immerse themselves in a full international experience.

    Instead of working remotely, interns may choose to:

    • Live in Medellín — one of Latin America's most dynamic and innovative cities
    • Study Spanish while completing their internship
    • Experience Colombian culture firsthand
    • Build international friendships and community connections
    • Participate in real events, cultural experiences, and social gatherings

    Important Financial Information

    Spanglish Events internships are unpaid. In certain cases, a limited stipend may be offered to support interns who demonstrate financial need or whose academic programs require compensation.

    Housing, flights, food, visas, health insurance, and all living expenses (for in-person internships) are the responsibility of the student.
